The General Electric LM2500 aeroderivative industrial gas turbine is operated worldwide in compression, power generation and marine applications. TransCanada Turbines is licensed by General Electric to perform overhaul, repair and service to the GE LM2500, LM2500+, LM2500DLE, and LM2500+DLE.

TransCanada Turbines is authorized to perform Level 4 operations in Calgary, and up to Level 2 worldwide.  Below are the field and depot services TransCanada Turbines provides for the LM2500 family of engines.

Level 2 - Onsite Internal Services

• Includes Level 1
  • Preventive and corrective maintenance and inspection performed on the exterior of an installed gas turbine
  • Gas turbine removal and installation
  • Separation of gas generator and power turbine
  • Gas turbine preservation and shipping

• Limited internal corrective maintenance and inspection performed on-site
• HPC/LPC Blade/Vane repair and replacement
• Hot Section/combustor replacement
• Other internal component replacement

Level 4 - Services Performed at Licensed Facility

• Includes Level 3
  • Level 3 plus complete disassembly and/or assembly of EMU’s or modules down to individual piece parts
  • Repair and replacement of piece parts and accessories
  • Gas generator, gas turbine and/or power turbine testing

• Complete disassembly and/or assembly of EMU's or modules down to individual piece parts
• Repair and replacement of piece parts and accessories
• Gas generator, gas turbine and/or power turbine testing
