  • General Electric: LM2500, LM2500+ & LM6000 family of engines.
  • Rolls-Royce: RB211, RB211 DLE & Avon Engines - all marks.

TransCanada Turbines offers comprehensive maintenance and service at both overhaul depots, which includes disassembly, cleaning, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), dimensional inspection, repair, balancing and reassembly.

Through a network of strategically located Field Service depots, TransCanada Turbines offers complete and global Field Service for all supported engine lines.  This includes boroscope inspection, repair, module change, mid-life inspection, and hot section exchange.  TransCanada Turbines is General Electric Level 2 certified for field service and approved by Rolls-Royce.

TransCanada Turbines owns and operates a dedicated engine test facility located at the Calgary depot.  This facility is Category 1 approved by Rolls-Royce to test the RB211, RB211 DLE and Avon, and approved by General Electric to test the LM2500 engines.  Through an agreement with a local power station near the overhaul depot, TransCanada Turbines tests the LM6000 on a live grid, replicating the customer's actual situation.
